This week is going to be a fantastic week. We started off the week by asking if our friends knew what Valentine's Day was or what you do during Valentine's Day. We are going to save these responses and go over them during group at the end of the week. It will be interesting to see if their answers change. For language on Monday we practiced using pebbles to trace letters and in math we used conversation candy hearts to finish the pattern. Today we had a sensory day and made play dough for Valentine's Day. Everyone had a change to stir and the play dough became an option at group time. Yesterday we dyed rice pink so we could add it to the sensory table, and we added hearts and seashells, too! Today I wrote down the words conversations hearts usually have on them and we identified letters we knew and wrote them down on the chalkboard.
