This week in the infant classroom has been quite exciting! A good chunk of our time was spent singing songs and exaggerating hand motions! We loved to put our arms up for the spider going up the waterspout, spinning our hands round one another for the wheels on the bus, and making our stars shine bright for twinkle twinkle little star! A big group of our infants have and will be turning one within the next several weeks! We've loved practicing singing the happy birthday song together pointing to and talking about letters on our friend’s birthday signs, counting to 10 while stacking ice cream scoops on cones, and practicing taking rings on and off stacking poles as well! We've also enjoyed practicing rolling sensory balls back and forth to one another and waving/blowing kisses to our older friends outside! The infants also loved exploring their own person watermelon squishy sensory bags! We talked about the color pink inside the bag, and the sparkly “seeds” we saw inside them as we poked and squished at the bags together! Next week we move on to America the Beautiful! Until next time!
