This week the children read stories about friends and we had a lot of discussions about what friends are, what we do with friends and how we help our friends. On Tuesday in art the children painted with sponge people and people stampers. In language the children dictated what a friend is and in math they engaged in a concentration game of numbers. On Wednesday in art the children glued various shapes to paper, in language they practiced using their pincer grip as they traced the letters of their name. In math the children engaged in a mouse color game. Today in art the children painted with cotton balls and in language they looked for letters displayed around the room. In math the children played dominoes, lots of counting!! Tomorrow in art the children will paint with koosh rings and in language they will match letters. In math the children will graph colors using frog counters.
