This week we have explored the around the world theme! We have been exploring the multi-cultural plastic dolls and labeling body parts such as our eyes, nose, arms and legs! The older infants also loved to listen to a CD with different cultured music on it as we explored colorful scarves and different shakers! We practiced scribbling with jumbo crayons on paper and counting small waffle balls as we took them in and out of baskets! Our younger infant’s enjoyed reaching for bubbles in the air and practicing pushing jumbo trucks around the room. The crowd favorite was practicing taking toys out of a large laundry basket with yarn woven throughout the baskets holes creating a web! It was a fun and different problem solving activity we all enjoyed quite a bit! We look forward to our theme next week! Until next time!
