This week in the infant classroom our theme is Families! We’ve had a blast talking about Moms, Dads, Brothers and Sisters! Our younger infants have practiced verbally making the “m” or “d” sound for mom or dad as our older infants practice pointing to the family photos on our classroom door! We also enjoyed singing our “Look Who Came to School Today” song in large groups. It was fun for the infants to hear the name of a classmate, pointing them out in the classroom with teachers and practicing waving and clapping for friends! Today was our Thanksgiving feast day as well! The older infants participated and loved talking about the thanksgiving foods we were served! We’ve explored the plastic family dolls as well and practiced pointing and labeling body parts, like our head or feet on the dolls and then ourselves! It has been a wonderful week, but we are so excited to start our Thanksgiving theme next week! Until next time!
