Did you feel the Earth move when we were marching around like the dinosaurs? It lasted all week long! We love the Laurie Berkner song "We are the dinosaurs" so we listened to it everyday as we marched and did the actions to the song. We also talked about the difference between a carnivore and a herbivore. We made some dinosaurs with bones on Monday and yesterday we painted our own dinosaurs and turned them into magnets for our home refrigerators! We explored with some small dinosaurs and sorted and patterned with them as well. We were paleontologists and dug up our own dinosaurs from the frozen ice at the science table. At the math table, we played with dinosaur dominoes and matched the various dinosaurs to the corresponding dinosaur. We got snow...lots and lots of snow and we are loving it! We have had so much fun making snowballs, small snowmen and rolling down the hill out on the playground. We will be wrapping up our week tomorrow by measuring our feet and seeing how many of our feet fit inside a dinosaur foot print.
