The children made made Rockets by gluing on shape foam pieces and foil, Moons- by stamping with sponges and silver glitter powder, Letter S for star- glued various size colored starts, Earth- stamping with space stampers and stamp pads and tomorrow the children will make a space wreath with space stickers and black paint.
The children explored with rocket ship shape dot boards with colored bingo chips for lining up and making pattern as they follow the dots. For Moon and Star patterning, the children used a white crayon to trace lines from star to star, practiced counting by using marbles and trays and tomorrow we will name planets/solar system by matching cards.

Tomorrow we will make Moon Sand with flour and baby oil- The children will explore the texture on their own individual trays.
