Farm Animals - Infant

Posted by [email protected] on July 8, 2021 at 1:50 PM

This week in the infant classroom the theme was farm! We talked about all different types of animals this week. The infants loved to sing Old MacDonald together while we explored farm animal puppets and told stories with them. The older infants enjoyed trying to sort plastic farm animals by their color with teacher help. We also counted the animals out loud while we took them in and out of baskets. We tried turning pages of books together as we pointed to and labeled familiar objects and animals. The whole group explored heir own individual sensory bags with shaving cream and food coloring in them. Our younger infants are working on their walking skills using rainbow push carts, and our older infants loved shaking and lifting the rainbow parachute up and down with teachers. It’s been a great week but we look forward to our new theme of Construction next week!
