It's all about America this week and had a lot of fun! We made several projects with red, white and blue. We used our small muscles to bead, cut, and glue. We also heard many stories about the flag, the states and how we all celebrate the holiday. We had our own parade around the room and played our instruments as we waved to the "crowds!" We used red and blue plastic cups to build with in the block area. We saw many towers and castles made of red and blue. We enjoyed our outside time this week because it never rained on us! Hooray!
We also learned a new song about fireworks (to the tune of Row, Row, Row Your Boat). Today, we practiced our writing skills by writing some 4th of July words like: Holiday, celebrate, picnic and America. We are anxious to get our long weekend started!
