Lakewood Childcare Center

We started our week off with trucks and more trucks! We rolled trucks through paint and watched the different tire tracks appear! We have been learning different truck names and finding them in various books. We made a shape collage yesterday and so many of the creations looked like trucks and vehicles! We have also been busy building in the block areas while wearing our construction hats! We have quite a few future engineers on our hands! We have read about various jobs of construction workers and their trucks/vehicles. In math, we have been sorting and measuring. For our science this week, we have been walking the room with a magnetic wands and seeing what it sticks to. Tomorrow, we will be making our own construction worker vest! We will be able to wear our creations too!
